Funeral Director Details :
Direct Hire position
to $ / hour
Weekend work required
Various shifts available
Consulting with families to plan customized services.
Preparing legal documents (, obituaries, death certificates).
Managing service arrangements with clergy, organizations, and attendees.
Preparing and presenting the deceased (dressing, casketing, embalming).
Coordinating transportation and shipments of remains.
Supervising team roles during services and training apprentices.
Handling on-call or first-call responsibilities as needed.
Funeral Director Qualifications :
Funeral Director : Minimum 2 years of licensed experience.
Funeral Embalmer : Minimum 5 years of licensed experience.
Valid Funeral Director and Embalmer license in good standing.
State-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication, empathy, and customer service orientation.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant systems.
Ability to multitask and work independently under minimal supervision.
