Hostler Driver / Yard Dog for 2nd shift ($ and 3rd shift ($ needed for a great opportunity in South Kansas City! This position is for a busy and upbeat cross-dock warehouse!

Hostler / Yard Dog Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
Various shifts available (Tuesday through Saturday)
Hostler Driver - 2nd shift - $ 4pm-12am & 3rd shift - $ 12am to 8am. With OT when required
Responsible for using an industrial tractor trailer to facilitate shipping and receiving functions.
Hooking and unhooking trailers, backing trailers to dock doors, maneuvering trailers throughout the yard.
May help as a Dock Worker when needed.
Good driving record
No CDL is required.
Can handle climbing in and out of the truck's cab as the cab is smaller than a normal truck cab.
Must interview but they need to be comfortable backing in large trailers
Hostler / Yard Dog Qualifications :
Previous Hostler / Yard Dog experience backing up trucks / trailers and completing onsite interviews with Skills Test.
Subject to Motor Vehicle Report.
Work weekends and OT.
Must be able to work in non-air-condition, exposed to weather (hot / cold) environment- on the dock and in / out of truck.
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Steel-toe boots are required.
Lifting of 50#.
Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
