Materials Coordinator Details :
Contract position
hour
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06 : 00am to 02 : 30pm)
Normal working hours first shift, 6 : 00am-2 : 30, with potential for OT based on what the production lines are running each week.
Coordinates material flow, Kanban replenishment, and shipping / receiving to ensure production personnel have necessary parts for uninterrupted operations.
Oversees inventory accuracy and timing, identifies root causes of material shortages, and recommends solutions to maintain production schedules.
Executes daily production schedules based on the Master Schedule and manages inbound / outbound material transactions.
Audits and improves material replenishment cycles, resolves inventory errors, and expedites parts to avoid production delays.
Collaborates with teams to address material availability gaps and supports production operators in resolving shortages.
Implements changes from engineering release and change management processes while managing deviations.
Monitors critical shortage reports and develops plans to ensure timely part availability.
Materials Coordinator Qualifications :
Experience analyzing information to make sound business decisions
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Two or more years of Supply Management or Manufacturing experience
Material Flow experience and willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
A strong problem solver who can multi-task
Proficient in SAP and data analytics
Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology or Engineering discipline, or 2-3 years of equivalent related work experience
