The National Business Development Manager is a true hunter responsible for driving outside sales growth by identifying and closing new accounts that significantly contribute to the growth of Elwood Staffing. The NBDM will be assigned to a specific industry vertical and will be charged with hunting new opportunities in that vertical. This position requires daily prospecting and routine face-to-face interaction with prospects, and close coordination with Elwood's leadership. The NBDM will sell large scale light industrial, Master Vendor and Professional solutions.

The National Business Development Manager - Government is responsible for driving outside sales growth in the federal government market. The nature of the work performed in this position requires engagement with key stakeholders within federal agencies, with a focus on building strong relationships and staying informed about market trends. All employees consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.
- Identify leads, qualify prospective business, create proposals, present to clients, and create new sustainable business partnerships within federal agencies.
- Build a strong pipeline of new / unexplored prospects within federal agencies and functions.
- Engaging with key stakeholders within federal agencies to foster long-term partnerships and understand evolving needs.
- Present customized solutions that demonstrate a clear understanding of the prospective client's business needs.
- Actively drive negotiations, close, and onboard new accounts.
- Liaise with the internal teams to provide service delivery.
- Manage account relationships by soliciting feedback and working with the internal teams to ensure service delivery expectations are met and concerns are addressed.
- Lead negotiations with federal agencies to secure new contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while adhering to organizational polices and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present revenue performance reporting for senior management
