Pump Mechanic Details :

    • 18 / hr DOERepair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipmentAssemble Centrifugal PumpsBalance Impellers and Complete Rotating AssembliesSet Bearing Clearances and Final End PlayDetermine and Set Oil LevelsUse Overhead Crane, Forklift and Man liftInspect TIR of components when requiredLifting up to 50lbsQualifications : Working with pumps or rotating equipmentHS Diploma or GEDClimate controlled shop

    Pump Mechanic Qualifications :

    A pump mechanic is responsible for :

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on pumps, including their motors and associated systems,
  • Identifying malfunctions, disassembling units to replace worn parts, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper functionality across various industrial and commercial applications
  • This often involves tasks like preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic components, and maintaining detailed repair records.
