Quality Assurance Technician Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
hour
Full Time work available
Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 01 : 30pm to 10 : 30pm)
Performs a variety of work to help provide top quality, safe food products that meet customer requirements & specifications.
Assist plant operations personnel with quality & processing matters.
Test, monitor, & document accurately the quality results & processing data for products produced.
Audit, verify, & follow up process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets,
Operate, calibrate, & maintain quality equipment such as thermometers, metal detectors, & scales.
Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or equivalent work experience.
1-3 yrs. experience in a food manufacturing lab / quality environment.
Excellent math, problem solving, & organizational skills.
Working knowledge & ability to conduct Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits & post cleaning inspections.
Effective written & verbal communications skills.
Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
