Quality Engineer Details :

  • Direct Hire position
  • 55, to $70, / annually
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 00am to 03 : 30pm)
  • Support quality inspectors and technicians
  • Identify, propose and conduct internal quality process improvement initiatives
  • Assist in identification of key process and product characteristics and how to control and measure them
  • Communicate and train suppliers on requirements of the Supplier Quality Manual
  • Perform supplier evaluations for initial selection and approval as well as for on-going qualification / disqualification
  • Requires traveling 25%

    • Quality Engineer Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a comparable discipline OR
  • ASQ certified Quality Engineer with 1-3 years of experience OR
  • Associates degree in a related discipline plus 5 years of experience
  • Experience with Japanese transplant automotive companies is a plus
