Quality Inspector Details :
Direct Hire position
to $ / hour
First Shift
Dimensionally inspect all parts using measuring devices to ensure they meet customer specifications
Follow specifications of blueprints and general dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Analyze inspection data and manage non-conformances
Complete required paperwork and checklists
Perform work with a high degree of responsibility with an emphasis on safety and quality
Read and understand blueprints, part drawings, internal process instructions and other technical data to perform visual and dimensional inspection activities
Collaborates with all departments to ensure quality at the source and continuous improvement
Quality Inspector Qualifications :
2 years of experience in quality control in metal fabrication
Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments
Proficient in GD&T and the reading of drawings
Strong mathematical and communication skills
Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience inspecting and processing paperwork for AS9100D is preferred
