Quality Supervisor - Direct Hire Details :
Direct Hire position
65, to $75, / annually
First Shift
Supervise Quality Inspectors and ensure timely and accurate testing of products.
Support the Quality Assurance Director in maintaining and improving Quality Systems.
Act as the "Second in Command" for the Quality Organization, overseeing Quality Systems, Finished Goods Inspection, New Product Development, and OTD / Safety.
Serve as the SOP Administrator, managing the creation, revision, and removal of Standard Operating Procedures.
Investigate customer complaints and out-of-specification products, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Coordinate with audit teams and vendors to address corrective actions and maintain historical records of customer complaints and resolutions.
Oversee activities with external analytical laboratories, including testing coordination, report review, and communication of results.
Use quality tools (, flow charts, check sheets, cause-and-effect diagrams) to analyze data and drive quality improvements.
Provide performance feedback to manufacturing teams based on customer feedback, audits, and internal quality metrics.
Manage customer returns, ensuring effective root cause analysis and resolution to maintain consistent quality standards.
Quality Supervisor - Direct Hire Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field - Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
At least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Experience with quality management systems (, ISO 9001, AS9100) and continuous improvement methodologies (, Six Sigma, Lean).
