Transportation Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Transportation Analyst to manage and optimize transportation operations for our Powersports (Motorcycle) product shipments. This role involves coordinating shipments from national warehouse locations to a dealer network of over 1,000 locations across the United States, as well as managing inbound shipments from global factories to meet domestic market demand. The Transportation Analyst will monitor carrier performance, track delays, provide timely updates, and ensure resolutions for shipment issues. Additionally, the role includes serving as a backup for Returnable Crates Coordinator operations.

    • Transportation Analyst Details :

  • Contract position
  • to $ / annually
  • First Shift
  • Shipment Coordination : Oversee and monitor carrier performance for outbound shipments from 7 national warehouses to the Powersports Dealer Network.Coordinate inbound shipments from 8 global factories to meet market demand. Track delays, update stakeholders on expected arrival dates, and follow up on shipment-related activities to ensure timely resolution.
  • Issue Management : Handle and dispute invoicing issues with carriers. Notify customers, warehouses, and relevant parties of weather-related disruptions or system issues.
  • Operational Support : Serve as backup for the Returnable Crates Coordinator, including carrier scheduling and Returnable Crate (RTC) operations.

    • Transportation Analyst Qualifications :

  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills
  • Clear and effective communications skills
  • Ability to manage and resolve transportation challenges promptly and efficiently
