Job Description Overview
The Elyon International, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Marine Corps Information Security programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Determine client security control requirements for MCCAST implementation.
- Implement security controls in MCCAST Tool and conduct annual review of records security controls through testing, examination, or interviewing.
- Prepare and maintain plans, instructions, guidance, and SOPs concerning network system operations security.
- Approve/disapprove SAARs, verify training requirements, and perform record retention.
- Participate in Removable Media Whitelisting Program and obtain Remedy account.
- Monitor and evaluate enterprise cybersecurity safeguards for intended level of protection.
- Participate in information security training and awareness program.
- Participate in Security Assessment and Authorization process.
Key Qualifications:
- CNSSI 4014-Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO).
- CompTIA Security certification.
- Experience with Marine Corps Information Security programs, authorization procedures, and interacting with higher military headquarter elements.
