The Job Description
In this role, you will provide basic competencies within orientation and deliver satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimal supervision. This includes performing mechanical ventilation, medicated aerosol delivery, airway clearance therapy, patient monitoring, oxygen and humidity therapy, and special procedures such as CPR and transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic competencies within orientation
- Deliver satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimal supervision
- Provide patient education and training on respiratory care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license to practice in Ohio (Required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices
