We are a metaphysical gift and book store that has been part of the Sarasota community for 33 years.
Description of role:
Our store is in need of Key-holder/Supervisor who loves working with customers to help them find exactly what they are looking for and hopefully some additional items to fit their needs.
We are a family owned and operated store with a long track record in the community, so many of our customers are repeats who return to us for their conscious living needs/wants.

Tasks:
*Greet customers when they walk through the door
*Ask customers what they are looking for and help find the items
*Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations
*Ring up sales, exchanges and returns.
*Add customers to our in-store rewards program
*Put out stock and clean the store as needed and when requested
*Open / Close store after training is completed
*Inventory counts to ensure accuracy of on-hands
*Plus other common retail store operation items.
Skills and requirements:
*1 year retail sales experience preferred, but not required
*High school diploma/GED required
*High-energy, friendly personality
*Capable of interpreting customers' words and showing them products that meet their needs
*Basic addition and subtraction skills
*Willingness to become subject matter expert. (Any knowledge of metaphysical products including Stones, Crystals, incense, etc, is a big plus)
Work schedule:
Part-Time flexible retail store hours schedule. 16-24 hours per week depending on business demands.
