As a Physical Therapist Assistant , you will assist in providing high-quality physical and rehabilitative treatments, collaborating closely with our physical therapists, and supporting patients on their recovery journey. Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mobility and assist with physical therapy interventions, including exercise programs, range-of-motion regimens, and spasticity treatments.
- Assist in the examination and evaluation process to determine the causes of patient disabilities and recommend potential treatments.
- Communicate openly with physical therapists to share findings and coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient and family records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as part of patient care duties.
- Show compassion and empathy, treating each patient like family as you support them on their road to recovery.
