Job Description: As a Hairstylist and/or Barber at Elysian Salon and Suites, you will have the freedom to manage your own booth, schedule, and clientele while providing top-tier services to your clients. You will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services, including cuts, colors, styling, and treatments for hairstylists, or haircuts, shaves, and grooming services for barbers. Our salon offers a welcoming and professional environment, allowing you to focus on your craft and client satisfaction while utilizing premium tools and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of hair services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, highlights, hair treatments, beard grooming, shaves, and more.
- Offer personalized consultations to clients, understanding their needs and providing expert advice.
- Ensure the highest standard of quality, cleanliness, and professionalism in all services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Build and grow a loyal clientele through excellent customer service and results-driven services.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Manage appointments and schedules independently.
- Create an inviting and positive atmosphere for clients, promoting client satisfaction and retention.
- Promote and sell retail products to clients to enhance their hair care experience.
Requirements:
- Valid state licensure as a Hairstylist and/or Barber (specific state requirements may apply).
- Proven experience in hairstyling or barbering, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a flexible schedule.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, cutting-edge techniques, and trends.
- Friendly, professional, and driven to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized workspace.
