Claims Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a great customer service skills to assist our clients with filing claims and negotiating settlements with the responsible parties following our company's guideline.

Duties

• Review the initial customer's claims submission
• Request all necessary documentations from clients and verify the eligibility of the claims
• Following company's claim guidelines to process claims and provide options to clients to meet their needs
• Maintain organized files for all claims processed, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
• Communicate with responsible parties such as our freight carriers and vendors to negotiate the settlement for each claim
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize future claims
• Issue return authorization forms following the company's return policy
• Track and follow up with customers regarding the returns
• Issue credits on returns

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service in the office setting (3 years)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and vendors
• Attention to detail is essential for accurate claims processing.
