Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial in supporting our accounts receivable functions.
Duties
- Assists the Billing Coordinator, creating invoice statements for e-filling on a variety of client billing portals. List the possible websites.
- Follow up on invoices that have been filed under client guidelines and/or protocols.
- Organize and provide necessary backup to support documentation of expenses paid on behalf of the client.
- Open new cases according to the procedures outlined for clients daily.
- Assist with entering fee entries in billing software and auxiliary tasks.
- Assists with accounts receivable.
- Verifies the accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least two years of related experience is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must be reliable and highly trustworthy.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
