At EM&S, Inc. we are experts in the design, manufacture, and application of unit bearing fan motors. These motors are suitable for a wide range of fan applications where quiet operation and long life are a priority.
Here at EM&S, Inc. we are hiring a Maintenance Technician for first shift. This is a full-time position with hours from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with benefits available. We have a great temperature controlled work environment and are looking for a dependable, friendly person to join our growing team.
A Maintenance Technician will be accountable for necessary maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and production maintenance systems and processes. This person will be able to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and have a strong attention to detail, as well as possess a courteous and professional attitude.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)
· Strong knowledge of machinery repair and its mechanical functions.
· Able to work with single and multi phase electrical wiring devices up to 440 volts.
· Experience in electrical control circuits wiring and troubleshooting
· Able to read schematics and blue prints.
· Steel fabrication experience.
· Welding experience with stick, Tig and Mig applications.
· Knowledge and experience with pneumatic controls and troubleshooting.
· Experience with hydraulic systems, controls and diagnostics.
· PLC experience a plus.
· Familiar with building and grounds maintenance
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s Degree in Maintenance/Industrial Maintenance preferred
Any other appropriate education as determined by management
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1 year proven Maintenance Technician experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
