Job Summary:
Works with BIM Manager in helping develop workflows to improve efficiency and quality of EMA systems and design practices pertaining to the company’s use of AutoCAD and Revit. This role is for individuals with experience in engineering design technology, proficiency in computer-aided drafting, drive for process improvement, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include:
- Develop new workflows/scripts to increase efficiency by designing, coding, testing, and maintaining.
- Understand EMA drafting standards.
- Keeping up with AutoCAD, Revit, Dynamo, and Bluebeam software updates and changes and understanding how they affect current workflows.
- Looking into the future of the AEC Industry.
- Effectively prioritize tasks and manage your time to ensure that all job responsibilities are completed within deadlines, regardless of varying working hours.
- Provide status updates for production activities to BIM Manager and Director of Production
- Coordinate with team members and managers to ensure smooth operations during unconventional work hours.
- Perform various other related tasks assigned by BIM Manager.
- Maintain clear communication with your supervisor regarding your availability and any scheduling conflicts. Proactively inform management of any changes to your schedule.
Education:
High school diploma required. Associates of Applied Science in Engineering Design Technology and/or Certificate of Proficiency in Computer-Aided Drafting preferred.
