Consulting EIT I

Experience:

• 6 months to 4 years of progressive post-graduate work experience.
• Prior experience with electrical and mechanical systems is preferred.
• A basic understanding of engineering principles is required.

Job Summary:

The Consulting Engineer in Training I is a key player in executing commissioning process tasks, providing crucial support to our Consulting Client Managers. This role demands a fundamental understanding of engineering principles and a strong ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Developing comprehensive commissioning documentation, including Commissioning Plans, Pre-Functional Checklists (PFCs), Functional Testing (FxT) forms, Issues Logs, and Final Commissioning Reports.
• Participating in Commissioning project site visits and contributing to the creation of Site Observation Reports.
• Assisting in the functional testing of various systems, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Miscellaneous Special Systems.
• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot and effectively resolve issues.
• Providing support in Retro-Commissioning projects, which include performing engineering and savings calculations.
• Drafting (CAD) may be required on occasion.

Education:

• Engineering degree required.
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering test required.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer preferred.
