Job Summary

Performs and documents Adult, Neonatal/ Pediatric Echocardiogram and vascular study as defined in departmental Scope of Care. Performs all modalities of stress testing, Holter testing and EKG. Patient populations will include neonatal/infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Also performs clerical functions for unit.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement :

Graduate of an approved program in Cardiovascular Technology preferred and/or successful passing of the American Registry Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer examination. Computer literate.

Minimum Experience Requirement :

Two years of adult, pediatric and neonatal Echocardiography and minimal of one year Vascular experience in an acute care hospital or passing the practical and/or writing competency test. Ability to work with all age groups. Ability to develop positive interactions with co-workers and physicians. Excellent customer service skills required.

Minimum License Requirement :

BLS required.
