Job Summary Oversees all functions within patient financial services department. Provides technical leadership while performing escalated or complex duties. Monitors department efficiencies and assumes responsibility for meeting departmental goals. Implements plans for improvement when needed. Maintains policies and procedures. Conducts monthly quality analysis and yearly performance reviews. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum Experience Requirement: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an acute hospital environment. Excellent customer service skills required. Previous experience interacting with technical staff, clinical staff, and management personnel. Knowledge and advanced skills in Excel, and Software applications. Strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to create clear concise documentation when identifying problems and writing improvement procedures.
