Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence. Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience in a food service operation in a capacity that involved formal supervision of workers; or one (1) year of experience at the lower - level Food Svc Spv (FFS013) or position equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain high-quality standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Experience
- Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong background in culinary arts or food management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food production techniques and shift management practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team.
