The Role and Team:
EMARKETER's Briefings are a suite of subscription newsletters reaching tens of thousands of business professionals every single day, and we're looking for a Writer/Analyst to join our Digital Health team.
As a Writer/Analyst on the Digital Health Briefings team, you will research, analyze, and write short-form content centered around the news, trends, and technologies changing the rules of the game in US healthcare—everything from AI, telehealth, pharmacy disruptors and prescription drugs, to Big Tech, retail health, and legacy healthcare providers, drugmakers, and insurers. You will also conduct and present research reports, analyze data, and monitor the evolving healthcare ecosystem, including innovations, key players, and consumer habits.
You'll be in the know on the business of healthcare and pharma, including how they market products and services to customers. You'll create a reputation as a trusted, data-driven industry analyst and a go-to resource both internally and externally. Your job will be to write sharp, actionable takeaways that can be consumed quickly by an executive-level healthcare audience. This role is ideally suited for someone with drive and the knowledge to put a stake in the ground on future predictions, trendlines, and disruptors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pitch, research, and produce timely news- and data-driven articles for our 3X a week Digital Health Briefing. (~8 short-form articles per week).
- Deliver tightly structured, insightful, and actionable reports and presentations tailored to the key needs of our audience.
- Ensure all deliverables include sharp data analytics, meet our high quality standards, publish on schedule, and provide actionable insights that help clients get their jobs done.
- Collaborate with researchers, forecasters, editors, and cross-functional teams on client-centric content.
- Engage proactively with peers through social media like LinkedIn, at major conferences, and in the media.
- Represent EMARKETER by presenting your research findings at top industry conferences, speaking to clients, and participating in webinars and podcasts.
- Provide constructive peer feedback to fellow analysts across the digital health team as they develop and produce stories.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience conducting research and writing professionally about healthcare/pharmaceutical topics.
- Knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing and advertising is a plus.
- Experience writing on a daily product.
- Public speaking experience with client presentations, industry events, media appearances, and/or webinars
- Experience writing succinct market research, preferably for a business audience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines and quick turnaround times.

- Base salary: $85,000-$95,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
