Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations by leveraging analytical skills and business intelligence tools. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weekly/Monthly Reporting and Support: Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports to support the team leader with comprehensive analyses.
- Existing Supply Channel Management: Assist in the monitoring the progress of existing supply channels, ensures supply chain efficiency, and address any issues promptly.
- Product Supply Planning and Expansion: Plan and strategize for the supply and expansion of imported products. Oversee the development and expansion of outsourced products (e.g., bulk deli items, products from other vendors).
- New Product Development Proposals: Propose and develop new product ideas to enhance the product line.
- Sales Operations Follow-Up: Handle operational tasks such as shipping schedules, sample requests, and product registration with trading partners.
- Operations Management: Assist in overseeing operational tasks for major accounts and coordinate trucking schedules and perform analysis for key accounts.
- System Management: Utilize various systems (SPS, EDI, Repositrak, GOLP) to streamline operations and ensure data accuracy.
- Data Management: Maintain and manage sales data to support the sales team’s decision-making processes.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining organized records.
- Others: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Practical experience in food sales, inventory control, operations, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in systems such as SPS, EDI, Repositrak, and GOLP.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to business travel, including overnight stays when necessary.
- Fluent in both English and Korean.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
