Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with clients to assess their needs and develop appropriate action plans.
- Provide crisis management support, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports on client interactions and case progress.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their decision-making processes.
- Manage cases by coordinating services and resources tailored to individual client needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to social work and crisis intervention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience in crisis management, social work, or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Strong report writing skills with attention to detail for documentation purposes.
- Experience with case management practices and familiarity with community resources.
- Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions.
