Job Description
The EMB Computing In-HouseTechnician must be responsible for maintaining the daily operations of our client’s IT needs. You will be responsible for in-house and remote support for the clients.
The In-House Technician reports directly to the Store Manager.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade customer’s IT needs
- Sell & setup new computer hardware and OS/software applications
- Keep an eye out for needed updates and monitor daily client IT needs
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field of study or Associates degree plus equivalent experience or Vocational Center plus equivalent experience
Less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Ability to install servers, PCs, network equipment, and many other technology related items along with software installations.
Support and maintain a variety of technology systems.
KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES
\Windows & Mac operating systems.
DNS, DHCP, TCP/IPv4 v6.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO SUCCEED
Dealing with clients to troubleshooting and correct IT issues.
Troubleshooting end-user issues.
Training end-users in the use of technology.
