The Strategy Program Management Team is responsible for the tracking and execution of opportunities to drive growth and/or strategic initiatives for SJI. The team is the primary driver in harmonization efforts across the enterprise for SJI strategy execution.
As the Business Analyst, you will play a key role in conducting in-depth market and financial analysis, and supporting senior leadership in decision-making processes. This position requires analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to influence key business decisions.

As the Business Analyst, you will play a key role in conducting in-depth market and financial analysis, and supporting senior leadership in decision-making processes. This position requires analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to influence key business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Analyze business performance, financial data, and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable strategies.
- Develop strategic frameworks, financial models, and presentations to support executive-level decision-making.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Assist in the development of business cases for new initiatives, including feasibility assessments and ROI projections.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leadership meetings, board presentations, and investor communications.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to gather, analyze, and interpret large sets of data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate strategy, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Proven experience in performing quantitative analysis, developing business strategies, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint; advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Ability to synthesize data and insights to develop clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $85 - $95
