Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged. Our staff offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.
Responsibilities :
- Individual Sessions : Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being.
- Family Sessions : Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.
- Group Therapy Leadership : Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.
- Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning : Participate in and lead weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
- Clinical Meetings and Supervision : Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions with 3-5 clinicians you supervise, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.
- Documentation and Charting : Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications :
Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.Fully licensed in state of UtahLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalentRequired - Two years of experience with supervisory experience and / or building and leading a team of licensed and associate therapistsRequired -Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.Preferred - One year of experience with medium to high acuity population, inpatient, residential, and or IOP / PHP setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.A desire to perform and develop counseling / therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.Ability to pass a state background checkBenefits :
