Responsibilities
- Client Intake & Orientation: Conduct intake assessments, oversee admissions, and provide orientation for new clients and their families.
- Leadership without direct reports—ideal for those stepping up from an intake specialist role.
- Lead groups, maintain a small caseload (2-3 clients), and stay connected to clinical work.
- Census Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to help teams achieve census goals.
- Suicide Risk Management: Assess and monitor clients for suicide risk, providing care for those at moderate or high risk.
- Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination between the national admissions team and local staff, adapting to changes as needed. Attendance to all-team operational and treatment meetings.
- Balance clinical care, operations, and outreach (tours, intake/discharge, and service promotion.)
- Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree and licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent, with the ability to practice therapy in Virginia.
- 1 - 2 years of prior experience in administering behavioral health assessments and suicide screens such as C-SSRS.
- Therapeutic expertise: Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to high-acuity populations, preferably in inpatient, residential, or IOP/PHP settings, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to monitor client progress.
