Enrollment Therapist

Salary: $75,000 to $95,000 per year (DOE) LMFT, LCSW, LPC

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:30 am - 5:30 pm) On-site, Full-Time

Join Embark at Ashburn as a Clinical Intake Manager and play a pivotal role in guiding families on their mental health journey. As the first point of contact, you will manage the admissions process, conduct initial client assessments, and represent our programs to parents, referents, and providers. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will help create meaningful outcomes for families and the community.

Expertise in treating adolescents and teens is essential, along with a deep understanding of the intersectionality of marginalized identities.

Responsibilities

• Client Intake & Orientation: Conduct intake assessments, oversee admissions, and provide orientation for new clients and their families.
• Leadership without direct reports—ideal for those stepping up from an intake specialist role.
• Lead groups, maintain a small caseload (2-3 clients), and stay connected to clinical work.
• Census Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to help teams achieve census goals.
• Suicide Risk Management: Assess and monitor clients for suicide risk, providing care for those at moderate or high risk.
• Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination between the national admissions team and local staff, adapting to changes as needed. Attendance to all-team operational and treatment meetings.
• Balance clinical care, operations, and outreach (tours, intake/discharge, and service promotion.)
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree and licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent, with the ability to practice therapy in Virginia.
• 1 - 2 years of prior experience in administering behavioral health assessments and suicide screens such as C-SSRS.
• Therapeutic expertise: Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to high-acuity populations, preferably in inpatient, residential, or IOP/PHP settings, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7) to monitor client progress.
