Mental Health Therapist
Salary Range: (Licensed) $75,000 – $85,000 Per Year, DOE
(Licensure Candidate) $65,000 - $70,000 Per Year, DOE
Full-time, Onsite position, Flexible Schedule
At Chrysalis you can have a career in creating JOY and HEALing Generations! Our program serves adolescent girls ages 13-18 who may struggle with depression, anxiety and/or suicidal ideations. Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged. As a primary Mental Health Therapist, you would be responsible for determining the best mitigating methods for the restoration of health.
Responsibilities
- Create Master Treatment Plan for each student on caseload.
- Collaborate with clinical team and other team members on interventions and treatment.
- Teach clinical skills to students.
- Help students process and create meaning from their experience.
- Respond to student issues and behaviors that occur, utilizing clinical experience and knowledge to support students and model meaningful interventions.
- File treatment logs for every session.
- Rotating on call schedule
- Develop caring relationships with students while maintaining healthy personal boundaries.
- Uphold campus expectations, rules and limits for students.
- Follow program policies and state and federal laws.
- Collaborate and coordinate between departments and staff teams.
- Support Chrysalis mission statement.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a current State of Montana Driver’s License.
- Ability to obtain licensure.
- Preferred – One year experience with adolescents and families.
- A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, group, and experiential therapies.
- A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
