Our Behavioral Health Therapists provide individual, group and family therapy with manageable caseloads in a beautiful outpatient setting designed with teens and young adults in mind.
As an Embark Therapist, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director, Clinical Director and Administrative Team that are all focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families at the OP, IOP and PHP levels of care. Come grow with us!
Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults and their families mental health and well-being by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our local IOP & PHP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.

Responsibilities
- Meet treatment standards through implementation of required notes and MTP standard requirements
- Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy.Participates in multi-disciplinary clinical team meetings.
- Meet desired program goals through implementing and meeting outcomes testing and standards.
- Ensure program completion and discharge requirements are met for all students.
- Discharge plans for all students should be completed and reviewed with students and family members.
- Conducts intake assessments as required to support the admissions team.
Qualifications
- Minimum Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Qualified for licensure but not yet a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
- A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
- A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
- Preferred -Two years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Preferred - One year of experience using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
- Experience practicing DBT, TF-CBT and SMART Recovery a plus!
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
- Ability to pass a state background check.
