Overnight Residential Mentor
Compensation: $23.25-$26/hr
$500 SIGN-ON BONUS!
Schedule:
- Full-time: Tuesday-Friday overnights 10pm-8am
Opportunity for Advancement:
- Incremental raises of $0.50 and $1.00 at 6 and 12 months respectively
Perks:
- $3.00 - $6.00 shift differential for short notice or night shift coverage
Embark Behavioral Health Bend is looking for reliable, skilled and empathetic Overnight Residential Mentors that want to make a difference and be part of an amazing team. Overnight staff provide supervision and support to our clients throughout the night while maintaining a high level of safety and structure.
A great position for those seeking work in mental health, the psychology field, social & human services, experience with inpatient healthcare facilities, and direct support professionals.
About Us: Located in Bend, Oregon, our residential treatment facility caters to teens aged 10-14 struggling with behavioral health issues. Our family-style residence promotes community engagement and interpersonal development, facilitating a supportive environment for healing and growth.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and emotional well-being of clients through consistent monitoring and documentation
- Uphold program structure by enforcing boundaries and maintaining a supportive environment
- Facilitate clear communication and documentation to ensure seamless team coordination
- Respond to client crisis by implementing de-escalation skills and training
- Contribute to residential upkeep, animal care, maintenance or administrative tasks as required
- Support kitchen by heating/serving meals on occasion
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications

- Proficiency in de-escalating emotionally or behaviorally dysregulated individuals
- Effective planning, implementation, and adaptability
- Punctuality, organization, and reliability
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year of experience in a residential or direct care role with youth and/or overnight shift experience
