RESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR
Pay: $49,000 to $53,000 per year

We’re growing and looking for a passionate Residential Director (RD) to join our team! As an RD, you'll be the guiding force for youth mentors and supervisors in your assigned house. You'll manage schedules, ensure safety, and oversee staffing. Most importantly, you'll play a key role in the care and supervision of our students, helping them build a brighter, more hopeful future.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire: Direct and manage mentors and supervisors in your house, fostering a supportive and effective team.
- Recognize Excellence: Reward employees for exceptional work and delegate responsibilities to keep the team running smoothly.
- Hire and Train: Collaborate with HR to hire the best talent, provide thorough orientation for new hires, and offer ongoing training.
- Evaluate and Support: Conduct regular evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and discipline staff as needed.
- Participate and Communicate: Join weekly treatment team meetings, conduct safety drills, manage budgets, and ensure your house is clean and welcoming.
- Connect with Families: Keep parents updated on their child's progress, needs, and expectations through frequent communication.
- Implement Therapeutic Plans: Execute treatment team decisions to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes for our students.
Qualifications
- 2 years of prior residential treatment center experience is preferrable; we need you to be familiar with the treatment center environment in order to manage it appropriately
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field of study is preferred, but not required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass criminal investigation background check
- Current driver's license
- Ability to effectively communicate and build healthy relationships.
- Ability to set and teach positive values
- Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid.
- Skill in de-escalating agitated students.
