Embark Recruiting Solutions is growing and is adding a Business Development Representative to our staff to facilitate and support our growth.
This role will be marketing, calling upon, and selling to potential customers to generate business for our staffing firm across the US on a contract, contract to hire, and direct hire basis. This position will focus on selling Information Technology, Construction, Medical, Engineering, Scientific, and other types of staff augmentation services.
Sales Duties and Responsibilities
- Prospects for new business leads across a variety of business segments, client bases and verticals. Maintains, updates and organizes prospect and client data in company CRM.
- Possesses highly developed marketing and outbound telephone skills. The ideal candidate will use social media tools such as LinkedIn to market to the target decision maker and follow up to educate potential clients on the benefits of staff augmentation.
- Actively manages prospective client funnel and pipeline. Aims to move prospective clients from initial engagement to meeting and proposal stages.
- Understands the opportunity for staff augmentation and creates need within client base. Possesses familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the staffing industry.
- Cultivates lead referrals from customer lists and other prospects. Quickly assesses prospects’ potential to focus an appropriate level of effort on each opportunity.
- Meets individual sales goals for sales activity, and continually evaluates prospecting methods for improvement. Reports to Management regularly concerning status of sales efforts.
- May be requested to deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with other sales team members. Communicates back to internal groups the outcome of the initial customer engagement, including clear details, critical timeframes and expectations.
- Participate in activities needed to support other business development, sales and management team members. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned in support of company mission and core values.
- Produces high quality work in a very fast paced environment and incorporates quality feedback for continuous improvement.
Preferred Requirements and Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, business administration or relevant field
- 3-5 years of work experience in a Business Development role or similar position. Experience preferred in Staffing.
- Requires excellent communication skills, attendance and reliability.
