The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, control and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to ensure that the highest level of quality care is maintained at all times.
The DON will plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility. Additionally, the DON will assure that nursing care is provided to all residents in accordance with their plan of care.

- Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
- Must possess current OH RN License and be in good standing with the BON
- At least three years experience in nursing administration, including supervision, preferably in a long-term care setting. Knowledgeable about regulations and standards established by Medicare, Medicaid and state and city government.
