Purpose of Your Job Position:
The primary purpose of your job position as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide quality nursing care and support to residents who require assistance with daily living activities due to their physical or cognitive impairments.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate empathy and compassion towards residents and their families.
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Must have a certificate for Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with laws of this state
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Must possess patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
- Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace
