**Job Title: State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA)**
**Location:** Newark Rehabilitation- Newark, OH
**Job Type:** Full-time and Part-time
**Shifts Available:** 12-hour shifts
**Job Summary:**
Newark Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nurse Aides (STNAs) to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking for full-time or part-time positions to provide high-quality care to our residents. As an STNA, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as required.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with facility policies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
**Qualifications:**
- Must possess a valid STNA certification in the state of Ohio.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a healthcare environment preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor toward patients and families.
- Must be able to lift, assist, and transfer patients as needed.
