Weekend night will be required as the schedule will be Friday - Tuesday every week. Primary Responsibilities
- Load articles into washers and dryers
- Understand and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents
- Operate the washer and dryer controls
- Clean the lint in the dryer filters twice a day
- Ensures that all storage & laundry rooms are locked before clocking out
- Removes laundry from chutes & carts; presorts linens to locate stained or torn items
- Maintain count of discarded items
- Fold & stack towels, sheets, and other linens
- Clean storeroom & laundry area
- Process damaged linen
- Make sure there are enough linens per floor and stocks each floor
- Other duties as assigned Education / Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Previous experience with washer / dryer equipment required
- Able to work independently
