Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction are maintained.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, maintaining a proactive human resources function to ensure team member motivation, training and development, wage/benefit administration and compliance with policies and procedures and labor regulations.
- Develop the annual budget and make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the company and brand loyalty. Monitor budgets and financial performance.
- Deliver results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and team member satisfaction and effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Maximize room revenues by anticipating and planning for market shifts; develop and monitor strategic marketing prospects; develops implement and monitor annual business and marketing plans and participate in appropriate national marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel management for a minimum of five years. Field management experience is preferred and a sales background is a plus
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and PC (Windows-based software) skills will be required.
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
