Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in maintaining various systems and equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all facilities are in optimal working condition. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for collaborating with other team members to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and equipment.
- Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
- Oversee residential painting projects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Operate logic controllers and use an ohmmeter for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Experience in residential drywall and painting is a plus.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documents is essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
- Basic Electrical and Plumbing skills would be preferred.
- HVAC knowledge is preferred but not necessary.
