What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Coordinator position at Embassy Suites by Hilton Indianapolis North?

Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain communication with customers via phone and email to answer their inquiries and requests
- Maximize profits by selling more and providing upgrades to guests to ensure they are completely satisfied
- Perform an initial pitch to a list of business and referral prospects based on your research and networking
- Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information
- Generate sales presentations and a variety of additional materials for prospective customers highlighting event space, dining and catering services, and facility amenities
- Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively
- Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required
- Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is a plus
- Stays organized and manage time well
