Are you an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront, a premier hotel located in the heart of Rockford, IL.
As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will be an integral part of our leadership team, overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, and managing the overall success of our Food & Beverage department. This is a full-time, on-site position offering comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and more!
About Us: Our Embassy Suites location features 160 beautifully appointed rooms and a 20,000 sq ft Conference Center with 12 meeting rooms and 14,000 sq ft of event space. We are dedicated to providing our guests with an unparalleled experience, and our Food & Beverage team plays a key role in achieving this goal.
What you will manage:
- Operations Management: Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining the highest standards of service.
- Staff Leadership: Manage staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and employee development.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in preparing the annual Food & Beverage budget and maintain profitability by controlling expenses, labor costs, and operational performance.
- Guest Relations: Build strong relationships with guests and clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service.
- Team Development: Foster a collaborative, service-oriented environment that motivates and supports team members.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any operational challenges, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.
- Safety & Compliance: Respond to emergency situations as needed and ensure the safety of both guests and staff.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the Food & Beverage industry, with at least 3 years in a management role preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining poise and efficiency.
- Personality: Positive attitude with a friendly, outgoing personality and a passion for delivering top-notch service.
- Flexibility: Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
