Job Summary: The Sales and Catering Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and catering departments by providing administrative assistance, coordinating events, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales and Catering Manager in daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate and manage event details, including room setups, menus, and audiovisual requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and event details.
- Communicate with clients to confirm event details, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful execution of events.
- Monitor and follow up on client feedback to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with marketing and promotional efforts to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the sales and catering departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel sales or catering role is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
