About Us: Embassy Suites Raleigh Crabtree is a renowned hotel dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales and Catering Coordinator to join our team and support our sales and catering operations.

Job Summary: The Sales and Catering Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and catering departments by providing administrative assistance, coordinating events, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sales and Catering Manager in daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage event details, including room setups, menus, and audiovisual requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and event details.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm event details, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and event orders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful execution of events.
  • Monitor and follow up on client feedback to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional efforts to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the sales and catering departments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel sales or catering role is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
