Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during the breakfast hours, ensuring that all food items are prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards. This role requires a passion for customer service and a commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness.
Duties
- Prepare and present a variety of breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their breakfast selections.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining areas by regularly cleaning tables, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety standards by properly storing food items and disposing of expired products.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including meal preparation for special events.
- Operate coffee machines and ensure a steady supply of coffee and other beverages for guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during breakfast service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to clean effectively and maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation areas.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts as required.
