Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing prompt, friendly, and efficient service.
Duties
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
- Process payments using cash registers and ensure accurate handling of transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool/patio area, including resetting lounge areas and tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels and participating in regular inventory checks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage; experience with cash registers is also beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes weighing up to 25 pounds.
