Requirements
Essential Functions:
The Restaurant Supervisor provides direct supervision of restaurant personnel, daily operation of restaurant service, and sets an example of service to all restaurant personnel, by meeting or exceeding brand standards.
· In the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager, carry out the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring effective communication of all required standards and procedures.
· Perform service-related duties as required of all restaurant personnel during shift.
· Work with the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to ensure quality of food and presentation meets or exceeds approved brand standards.
· Serve as a bridge of communication between line level team members, guests, and management.
· Provide excellent guest recovery regarding guest complaints and communicate any of these issues to management on duty.
· Create and maintain a fair and organized schedule that provides the appropriate level of service required to meet brand standards and occupancy levels.
· Willing to work flexible schedules and varied shifts depending upon current service personnel, requests, occupancy levels, and reservations or events.
· Complete any assigned duties as requested by Food and Beverage Manager, General Manager or Executive Chef due to business levels or events.
· Participate in the hiring of restaurant servers and bussers, including review of application and involvement in interview process.
· Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
· Proven food and beverage management experience.
· Knowledge of health and safety standards.
· Communication and leadership skills.
-Required state food and beverage certification.
