What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Houseperson position at Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista Resort?
A Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Stock and maintain supply rooms and linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to Room Attendants
- Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
- Empty Room Attendant carts of soiled linen and trash
- Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed
- Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed
- Previous hotel, Housekeeping/Janitorial experience preferred.
- The ability to stand, squat, reach, walk, and lift for periods at a time is required.

El Houseman es responsable de la limpieza y mantenimiento de areas del hotel designadas, y de atender los requerimientos de los huespedes en el hotel, ofreciendo un excelente servicio al cliente, con rentabilidad financiera.
Responsabilidades:
- Almacenar y mantener los cuartos de suministros y los closets de sabanas con los sumplementos necesarios para las amas de llaves, esta actividad puede incluir llevarle personalmente los suplementos a las amas de llave directamente.
- Limpiar areas designadas, no limitante, como tocadores, areas publicas, oficinas, y areas de eventos/ reuniones y salones de conferencia
- Vaciar los carros con sabanas subias y basura de las amas de llaves
- Realizar tareas como; desempolvar y pulir muebles e inmuebles, aspirar, coletear, barrer, lavar las alfombras, limpiar ventanas, limpiar pisos, remover basura y vacear papeleras.
- Realizar limpiezas profundas en proyectos especiales, por ejemplo: voltear colchones, mover muebles. etc. todo lo que sea necesario.
- Realizar requerimientos del huesped y asistir al limpiar habitaciones como sea necesario
- Experciencia en hoteles o conserjeria previa preferida
- Hablidad para estar de pie, en cunclillas, puntillas, caminar y alzar peso por periodos de tiempo necesarios es obligatorio.
