Job Purpose
The Beautiful Embassy Suites Lombard is seeking a dedicated Lead Housekeeping Supervisor. The purpose of the Lead Housekeeping Supervisor is to insure the Guest Room Attendants clean, maintain and refresh the guest rooms daily to the Brand and AURO Hotels standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee the completion of all duties by Houseperson and Room Attendants.
- PM Room Inspector / Inspectress should prepare the evening reports and finish any jobs the AM crew did not.
- Know and follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Properly use all cleaning supplies and fluids to product specifications.
- Update room status with either the Front Office Supervisor or the computer system at designated intervals.
- Understand and operate all housekeeping equipment to product specifications.
- Perform and complete any special projects as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Know and actively practice the hotels' emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
- Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
- Plans work schedules to ensure adequate service.
- Provide supervision and support to everyone in the department.
- Ensure that all reports are prepared completely and on time.
- Ensure that proper key controls are in effect.
- Ensure storage rooms are clean and neat.
- Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment.
- Periodically inventories supplies and equipment, completes linen inventory.
- Investigates new and improved cleaning instruments and methods.

Experience / Education
High School Diploma Preferred. Hilton Experience preferred with 5 years of experience.
