Overview

Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a passion for creating unforgettable events? We are currently seeking a Catering/Event Manager to join our team. In this role, you will use your creativity and sales skills to drive revenue by booking and servicing events, from weddings to corporate conferences. The primary focus is to sell Banquet Food & Beverage with other responsibilities including menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services. Other duties will include reviewing contracts and facilitating communication before, during, and after events with hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. The Catering/Event Manager will also contribute to site inspections, maintaining strong customer relationships and working as a team member with the sales and catering staff. The ideal candidate is a natural communicator with a proven track record of sales success and a passion for planning events and delivering exceptional customer service. Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field and/or 2 years of hotel sales experience

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of event planning and logistics

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software

· 1 year food and beverage experience

· Confident and professional appearance

· Proactive sales approach, assertive and fast paced, driven to succeed

· Execute and support Hotel Customer Service and Brand Standards

· Understanding of market segment, competitor strengths, weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand

· Strong time management skills

· Able to work on multiple projects with desired outcome for each

· Creativity in designing events
